SOCCER UNITED FOOTBALL SUPPLIES



These terms are issued by Soccer United Football Supplies ("SUFS") and are effective from 1 st November 2021. They cover the use of our website (soccerunited.co.nz), instore purchases, and mobile van purchases –



Use includes visits to our site, purchases on our sites, participation in our database and promotions. These terms of use apply to you when you use our websites. Please read these terms carefully.



1. Content



While we endeavour to supply accurate information on this site, errors and omissions may occur. Soccer United Football Supplies Ltd ("SUFS") does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site.



SUFS reserves the right to make changes to the content on this site at any time and without notice.



To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, SUFS makes no warranties in relation to the merchantability, fitness for purpose, freedom from computer virus, accuracy or availability of this web site or any other web site.

2. Ordering goods and services from us



When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods or services. An order is placed on our website via adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery and any other relevant details for your order eg. entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a receipt of your order



We do not supply trade quantities and reserve the right to limit the number of an item customers can purchase in a single transaction.



We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received and accepted your order, which indicates that your order has been accepted and you may not cancel it.



We will take payment from you when we accept your order.



3. Refusing or cancelling orders



In the unlikely event that the goods or services ordered are no longer available we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order.



We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.



While we endeavour to ensure that the price and description of goods or services is accurate, if there is an error in the process of listing a product or service on our website or a technical error in the processing of your order we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.



Our right to cancel orders applies to orders that have been accepted.

We want you to have a safe and secure shopping experience online. All payments via our sites are processed using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, whereby sensitive information is encrypted to protect your privacy.

For security purposes certain transactions may require proof of identification.



Should you have any issues with your purchase, you are able to return your product to us under our standard terms. Go to Returns Policy for further information.

Any refunds made by SUFS will be made to the card that you used to pay for your goods.



6. Pricing



All prices listed on www.soccerunited.co.nz are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST. Please note that we reserve the right to alter prices on our websites at any time for any reason. Online and in store pricing may differ.





7. Returns & Refunds

Returns | Non-faulty goods
Return the non-faulty goods to Soccer United Football Supplies
- In person to 137 Alexandra Street, Hamilton
- By courier to Soccer United C/- Research Motors, 10 Bisley Road, Enderley, Hamilton, 3214.

We will accept returned items on the following basis
- Item is unused (this will be determined by inspection)
- Item is un-personalised (i.e. initial embroidered socks / name on shirt)
- Item is not socks, compression wear, or shin guards with a compression sleeve
- Tags and packaging are still attached and undamaged
- Soccer United Football Supplies is in receipt of the returned item within 10 days of purchase
- Detail of purchase including name and contact detail is included in return
- Returned item passes Soccer United Football Supplies inspection

If the above criteria are met, we will happily exchange the item if possible or provide store credit.

All sale items can be exchanged or credited.

Soccer United does not pay for shipping costs for returning, exchanging or replacing items.

Returns | Faulty Goods
Return the faulty goods to Soccer United Football Supplies
- In person to 137 Alexandra Street, Hamilton
- By courier to Soccer United C/- Research Motors, 10 Bisley Road, Enderley, Hamilton, 3214.

Please supply details of the purchase including copy of receipt/invoice and your contact details, and details of the fault claim.

Once in receipt of the item, Soccer United Football Supplies will investigate before deciding what to do.

Depending on the outcome, the item may be repaired, replaced or refunded.

All repairs will be carried out by the supplier and not by Soccer United. Some items might not be repairable and a replacement or refund will be offered.

Manufacturer warranty periods and the availability of items for replacement are at the manufacturer's discretion and out of Soccer United's control. We will do our best to ensure we get a quick repair, replacement or refund for you and we will keep you completely informed during the process.



FOOTBALL BOOTS & FUTSAL SHOES PURCHASED ONLINE

Soccer United recommends that you visit instore to try on football boots and futsal shoes before purchasing online.

Online goods damaged in transit
If your items purchased from our online store arrive damaged, please keep all the contents including the packaging or parcel that the items arrived in. Please contact Soccer United Football Supplies Limited on (07) 595 0700 or footballsupplies@soccerunited.co.nz.

Returning items that are not in original condition, outside the 10-day timeframe, or football boots or futsal shoes purchased online

Unfortunately, with the exception of faulty items, we are unable to accept items returned that are not in their original condition (including packaging and tags) or returned after 10 days from the purchase date. Our customer services team will contact the purchaser to discuss if you would like the items to be returned to you. Any items returned under these circumstances may incur a shipping cost to the customer.

Returning items from overseas

Soccer United Football Supplies cannot exchange or return items from overseas addresses.


New Zealand Consumers Guarantees Act 1993

Soccer United Football Supplies Limited abides by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act for any faulty or damaged items.

8. Accessing our service

Other than connecting to SUFS website by HTTP requests using a web browser, you may not gain access to SUFS website servers. You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with our website or services and their associated software, hardware and servers in any way. You also agree not to modify any content or service on SUFS website. Furthermore, you agree not to use our sites in any inappropriate or unlawful way.

Our website is intended to provide information for people shopping our products and accessing our services, including making purchases via our website and registering on our database to receive e-mails from us.

At Soccer United Football Supplies we respect your privacy and any contact information you provide is only used to advise you when we have special deals on offer.

Your payment details are processed on a secure payment page and are completely confidential.

We will never share your details with anyone else* and will never spam you with any information, although we may from time to time share any special offers from our related business partners. We do collect web based traffic information regarding visitors to the site for the purpose of site analysis and to make sure it is working.

15. Consumer Guarantees Act

Except as provided in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, all warranties, descriptions, representation or advice given as to the fitness or suitability for any purpose, tolerance to any conditions, similarity to sample, merchantability or otherwise, are expressly excluded. No agent or representative of Soccer United Football Supplies is authorised to make any warranties, representations or unauthorised warranties, representations or statements. The Customer shall ensure that the Products are not used for any purpose for which they are not suitable and shall be responsible for using all necessary skill and care in handling and using the Products. The Customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that Soccer United Football Supplies assumes no obligation or liability for any advice given and all Products are accepted by the Customer entirely at the Customer's risk.

Products purchased from Soccer United Football Supplies that are used for commercial or business purposes will be be covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

16. Delivery and Delivery Charges

At this time, we only deliver to New Zealand and Australia.

EXTRA LARGE / BULKY ITEMS - May attract costs different to those listed above.

If the order fails to include the correct shipping we reserve the right to a) refund the order entirely or b) request additional payment equal to the correct cost of shipping as determined by our shipping terms and conditions

The correct delivery destination must be selected at checkout. If we believe that an incorrect delivery destination has been selected, we may contact you to arrange further payment of shipping, or cancel and refund the order.


Please note that a signature is optional for receiving deliveries. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 business days using our online form.



. We will use this delivery information to make a claim against our courier company. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund, once we have received confirmation from our courier company that delivery was not successful.



17. Click and Collect



Click and collect is available as an option when checking out online. When you place your order, you can select which store you want to collect your order from.



After completing your order, you will get a confirmation email with your order details and collection reference which you'll need to have when you collect your order.



Once your order is ready to collect from your nominated store, we will notify you by email and/or text if you have chosen that as a notification option when you made your purchase.



Please Note: We will hold your order at the store for a maximum of 30 days after we have notified you it is ready for collection; after 30 days we will cancel and refund your order against the same payment method used when placing the original order.



If your order is cancelled and refunded, we will notify you by email.



18. Delivery Period



Delivery lead time for products may vary. Deliveries to rural addresses may take longer than the time indicated. All deliveries may take longer than the time indicated depending on COVID-19 restrictions. You will receive an email that confirms that your order has been dispatched.



To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package. You can track your order by clicking on the link in the dispatch email, registered users can track their orders through their Order History in your My Account section

19. Comments posted by other parties to Social Media accounts or Blog posts owned by Soccer United Football Supplies

We welcome relevant and respectful comments.
